Colorado Part 2

We traveled through the Colorado Rockies visiting Georgetown, Cripple Creek, Manitou Springs, Leadville, and the Garden of the Gods. The scenery felt like a movie set with mountains, rivers, and unexpected hailstorms. We explored historic mining towns, rode the Georgetown Loop Railroad, and visited Royal Gorge with its high bridge over the Arkansas River. In Manitou Springs we remembered childhood memories, mineral springs, and family history. We also saw Pike’s Peak, Cripple Creek casinos, and beautiful lakes. Despite weather changes and altitude, the trip was full of laughter, faith, and adventure, reminding us of God’s amazing creation and the joy of travel.
