Episode 7 - MOOSE PROBLEMS

With summer winding down we are packing as many projects in as we can before the weather starts to turn. This episode is packed with homestead life, how-to's and drama. We put the finishing touches on the rental cabin bathroom/composting toilet, and build the outdoor, hot water on-demand shower. We get some unexpected visitors: a momma moose and a baby in need of some help. We prepare for the arrival of new baby piglets, build a new pig pen and get some new baby bunnies as well. We go on a homeschool field trip. We also talk gardening in north Idaho, where we had success and where we learned some lessons. After all the hard work, we are rewarded with a haul of one of North Idaho's best wild treats: huckleberries.
