The Human Body as Evidence of Design | Dr. Charles Thurston and David Rives | Creation in the 21st Century

On this episode of Creation in the 21st Century, host David welcomes his friend Dr. Charles Thurston, an emergency room physician, to explore how the human body testifies to a Creator. Drawing on Psalm 139's promise that we are fearfully and wonderfully made, Dr. Thurston walks through the design written into our anatomy, from DNA that spells out life like letters forming words to the four-chambered heart that beats some three billion times in a lifetime. He connects the heart's electrical rhythm and its four surrounding valves to the imagery of Revelation, and points to the breastbone and ribs as a picture tied to Hebrews 4:12. Together they make the case that the body is no product of chance but a machine bearing the signature of God.
