Ex-Muslim: I Asked My Dad Questions. Then He Wanted Me DEAD | Ep. 232

Dr. Mark Christian grew up in Egypt as the son of a respected physician and religious leader and was leading prayers in mosques by age nine. He studied hard to prove his faith was true, and the more he studied, the more questions he had, until, he says, he became a threat to his own father. In his memoir The Apostate: My Search for Truth, he tells Eric about a dawn call to his father's old office, the fire trap behind the door, the stumble that saved his life, and the decision he made in the back of an ambulance: "I will follow Jesus, God of love."
