1,000 days John the Baptist diet challenge - Day 202

Rating: All Ages

Day 202. Another day, another locust — and another step deeper into the wilderness of faith.

For over 200 days now, I’ve committed to eating what John the Baptist ate — locusts, just as the Gospel of Matthew records (Matthew 3:4). This challenge is about more than food. It’s about remembering that God's provision isn’t always what we expect — but it's always enough.

My name is Dror Tamir, and I’m an entrepreneur from Israel, where this journey began. At Holy Locust, we’re on a mission to restore a lost Biblical tradition — and transform it into a modern-day solution for hunger and sustainability, especially in East Africa, where food insecurity is rising and answers must be bold.

Every locust I eat is a symbol of obedience, redemption, and renewal.
What was once a plague can become provision.
What the world sees as lowly, God can use for greatness.

In today’s video:
– I share my daily meal — featuring whole roasted locusts
– I reflect on the discipline of staying the course on Day 202
– We consider the value of small, faithful steps in a big, noisy world

This journey isn’t about shock. It’s about Scripture.
It’s not a gimmick. It’s a witness.

If you've ever wondered whether the Bible speaks into our modern problems — join me. This isn't just ancient history. It’s a living truth. And it might just feed the future.
