The Red Heifer Mystery: What Has Already Happened in Israel? | Byron Stinson

Wed, 30 Sep 2026 20:43:47 +0000

For nearly 2,000 years, Israel has been without a Temple, altar, and functioning priesthood. And without the ashes of the red heifer described in Numbers 19, purification from contact with the dead—a requirement connected with entering the sanctuary—has remained impossible.

But something remarkable has happened.

Red heifers were raised in Texas and transported to Israel, beginning a story that has captured attention around the world. At the center of that story is Byron Stinson, who has spent years working toward the restoration of the biblical red heifer ceremony.

In this special Sighted Moon collaboration, Ryan Nall and Joseph Dumond sit down with Byron to hear the story firsthand.

Where did the red heifers come from? Why were they brought to Israel? What exactly does Numbers 19 require? Why are the ashes so important? How does the purification of the flesh relate to the sacrifice of Yeshua—and what has already taken place that most of the world knows nothing about?

This is the beginning of our deep dive into one of the most mysterious commandments in the Torah and the extraordinary events surrounding its potential restoration in our generation.

Join us as Byron Stinson tells the story of the hunt for the red heifer.

How Mikvah Became Baptism | Episode #139

Fri, 25 Sep 2026 22:37:22 +0000

Why was John the Baptist immersing people in the Jordan—and why was immersion necessary to prepare the way for the Messiah?

In this episode of the Sighted Moon Podcast, Ryan Nall and Joseph Dumond step outside the traditional Christian understanding of “baptism” and examine the practice through its Hebrew and Temple context: mikvah, ritual purity, repentance, and preparing to draw near to Yehovah.

John wasn’t introducing an idea disconnected from Israel’s Scriptures and worship. His ministry called Israel to repentance and purification in preparation for the coming Messiah. That raises an important question: What did immersion mean to a first-century Jewish audience?

We explore the relationship between mikvah and repentance, the principle that immersion accomplishes nothing while someone continues clinging to sin, and the connection between ritual purification and approaching the Temple. We also examine the sacrificial system—not simply as a mechanism for dealing with sin, but as part of Israel’s means of drawing near to God.

Then the discussion turns to John’s prophecy concerning two very different immersions: the Holy Spirit and fire. Are both promises of blessing, or does John contrast the purification of the repentant with the judgment awaiting the unrepentant?

Finally, we examine a unique form of purification that ordinary immersion could not accomplish: purification from contact with the dead—and why that subject may have profound implications for understanding biblical prophecy and the last days.

Join us as we trace baptism back through John the Baptist, the mikvah, the Temple, Torah, and the biblical concept of preparing a people to meet their God.

Join us as we dig into Scripture and history and follow the development of these traditions from the biblical period forward.

Dancing with The Torah | Episode #138

Tue, 22 Sep 2026 03:30:23 +0000

What exactly is Simchat Torah—and where did it come from?

In this episode, Ryan Nall and Joseph Dumond examine the history behind Simchat Torah and its relationship to Shemini Atzeret, the biblical “Eighth Day” commanded in Leviticus 23.

The Torah commands an eighth-day sacred assembly following the seven days of Sukkot, but the modern celebration of Simchat Torah centers on completing the annual Torah-reading cycle with Deuteronomy and immediately beginning again with Genesis 1:1. How did these traditions become connected?

We trace the discussion from the biblical commands concerning Shemini Atzeret through the destruction of the Second Temple, the development of the Mishnah and later rabbinic tradition, and the emergence of customs associated with Simchat Torah.

Along the way, we also tackle a fascinating calendar question: What does Ezekiel mean when he says his vision occurred “at the beginning of the year” (Ezekiel 40:1)? Does the Hebrew expression Rosh HaShanah prove that Tishri was already regarded as the beginning of the year in Ezekiel’s time—or are later interpretations being read back into the text?

We examine:

• Shemini Atzeret in Leviticus 23
• What Simchat Torah actually celebrates
• The annual Torah-reading cycle
• When Simchat Torah developed
• The Mishnah and the development of rabbinic tradition
• The meaning of “Rosh HaShanah” in Ezekiel 40:1
• Aviv/Nisan versus Tishri as the “beginning of the year”
• How later Jewish traditions became associated with the biblical fall festivals

Was Simchat Torah practiced in the days of Yeshua? Is it part of the biblical command for Shemini Atzeret, or is it a later tradition attached to the Eighth Day?

Join us as we dig into Scripture and history and follow the development of these traditions from the biblical period forward.

The Hillel Calendar- Biblical Authority or Rabbinic Tradition? | Episode #137

Tue, 15 Sep 2026 00:24:24 +0000

Why do most Jews today follow a calculated calendar rather than sighting the new crescent moon? And if modern communication allows people around the world to know almost instantly when the moon is sighted in Israel, why is the fixed Hillel calendar still necessary?

In this episode of the Sighted Moon Podcast, Ryan Nall and Joseph Dumond examine the history and authority behind the Jewish calendar, Rosh Hashanah and Yom Teruah, the role of the Sanhedrin, the ancient system of witnesses reporting the new moon, and the postponement rules that can affect when the appointed times are observed.

But the discussion eventually reaches a much deeper question: Who has the authority to determine Yehovah’s appointed times?

Did the judges of Israel have authority merely to evaluate witnesses and declare the month, or did that authority extend to establishing a calculated calendar and postponing holy days? What happened when the Sanhedrin ceased functioning? Was the fixed calendar a necessary solution for Jews scattered throughout the nations—or did it ultimately replace the method established in Scripture?

We also discuss Hillel II, the historical development of the Jewish calendar, the authority later attributed to it, and whether modern believers should continue following that system now that communication with the land of Israel is instantaneous.

And finally, we wrestle with an important question that shouldn’t be ignored: Are those who reject the rabbinic calendar restoring something that was lost—or are they rejecting the authority Yehovah gave Israel’s judges?

Join us as we examine the biblical calendar, Jewish tradition, and the difficult question of authority surrounding Yehovah’s appointed times.

Topics include: Yom Teruah • Rosh Hashanah • Hillel II • Jewish calendar • crescent moon • Sanhedrin • new moon witnesses • postponement rules • Leviticus 23 • biblical feast days • rabbinic authority • appointed times

The Shemini Atzeret, Simchat Torah, and John 10:22 Mystery | Episode #136

Fri, 11 Sep 2026 19:48:31 +0000

While much of the Jewish world is preparing for the Feast of Trumpets, we have already completed Sukkot and Shemini Atzeret. So who is early—and who is late?

In this episode, we examine one of the most important questions surrounding the biblical calendar: What actually determines the beginning of the year?

Rather than beginning the year with Tishrei and Rosh Hashanah, Exodus identifies Aviv as the first month. We discuss the barley harvest, the biblical agricultural cycle, the development of Jewish calendar traditions, and why the distinction between the first and seventh months matters.

Then we turn to a fascinating mystery surrounding Shemini Atzeret, Simchat Torah, and John 10:22:

“And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter.”

Most readers immediately identify this “Feast of Dedication” with Hanukkah on Kislev 25. But when John 7–10 is examined as a continuous narrative beginning with Sukkot, does that assumption still hold? Could John be describing something connected to the seventh month instead?

We explore:

• Aviv vs. Tishrei as the beginning of the biblical year
• How barley determines the first month
• Why our feast dates differ from the traditional Jewish calendar
• The meaning of Shemini Atzeret
• The development of Simchat Torah and the annual Torah-reading cycle
• Biblical “summer” and “winter” seasons
• John 7–10 and Yeshua’s attendance at the feasts
• The meaning of “dedication” (Hanukkah) in John 10:22
• Whether John 10:22 necessarily refers to Kislev 25
• How tradition can sometimes obscure what Scripture actually says

The goal isn’t to reject Jewish tradition simply because it is tradition. It’s to test our traditions—Christian and Jewish alike—against Scripture, history, and the agricultural signs Yehovah established.

Is Aviv really the first month? Is the traditional calendar one month late? And have we misunderstood the Feast of Dedication in John 10?

Join us as we dig into the Scriptures and examine the evidence.

The Eighth Day: What Is Shemini Atzeret Really About? | Episode #135

Thu, 03 Sep 2026 00:23:05 +0000

The Feast of Sukkot lasts seven days—but then God commands His people to assemble again on the eighth day. Why?

Leviticus 23 and Numbers 29 clearly command an eighth-day solemn assembly, yet unlike many of the biblical appointed times, Scripture does not immediately explain what this day commemorates. So how are we supposed to understand it?

In this episode, Ryan, Joe, and Sombra dig into the mystery of Shemini Atzeret—the Eighth-Day Assembly. We examine the biblical instructions for Sukkot, the distinction between the seven-day Feast of Booths and the eighth day that follows it, and the recurring significance of the “eighth day” throughout Scripture.

Could the eighth day point toward a new beginning? Does it foreshadow what comes after the Messianic Kingdom—the ultimate dwelling of God with His people? And what can Israel’s journey through the wilderness teach us about faith, obedience, trust, and being prepared when God calls His people to move?

We also discuss the biblical calendar, following God’s appointed times, the coming restoration of all things, the ten virgins, Israel’s failure to trust Yehovah in the wilderness, and the danger of becoming so accustomed to God’s provision that we begin to take it for granted.

What exactly is the eighth day—and what is Yehovah trying to teach us through it?

Join us as we search the Scriptures for the meaning behind one of the Bible’s most mysterious appointed assemblies.

Sukkot: The Wedding Feast & God’s Plan of Salvation | Episode #134

Fri, 28 Aug 2026 23:44:37 +0000

What if the biblical Holy Days are more than ancient observances? What if they reveal, step by step, the entire plan of salvation?

In this episode, Ryan Nall and Joseph Dumond explore the prophetic meaning of Sukkot—the Feast of Tabernacles—and why understanding the appointed times can dramatically change the way we understand the Kingdom of God.

Yeshua taught us to pray, “Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.” The biblical story doesn’t ultimately end with God’s people floating away in heaven—it points toward God dwelling with His people and His Kingdom being established on the earth.

We trace the prophetic pattern through Passover, Shavuot, the Feast of Trumpets, the Day of Atonement, and finally Sukkot. How do these appointed times portray redemption, judgment, resurrection, the wedding feast, and the coming Kingdom? And could the three pilgrimage feasts point toward a deeper pattern involving resurrection?

We also discuss why Sukkot isn’t merely something to study. It’s something to experience—a time to gather, rejoice, eat, fellowship, worship, and learn God’s plan by participating in His appointed time.

From the resurrection of Yeshua to the wedding feast and the Kingdom to come, Sukkot may reveal far more about the future than most believers realize.

In this episode: Sukkot • Feast of Tabernacles • Biblical Holy Days • God’s Kingdom on Earth • Resurrection • Wedding Feast • Passover • Shavuot • Feast of Trumpets • Day of Atonement • Shemini Atzeret • Prophecy • Yeshua

Sukkot: Why Would a Christian Keep the Feast of Tabernacles? Episode #133

Wed, 26 Aug 2026 21:38:39 +0000

Why would a Christian today care about Sukkot—the biblical Feast of Tabernacles?

In this episode of the Sighted Moon Podcast, Ryan Nall and Joseph Dumond explore one of the most joyful and prophetic feasts found in Scripture. Far from being merely an ancient Jewish tradition, Sukkot is presented in the Bible as a commanded time of rejoicing before Yehovah—a seven-day celebration filled with food, fellowship, remembrance, and prophetic meaning.

We begin in Deuteronomy 14, where Israel is instructed to set aside part of its increase, travel to the place where Yehovah placed His name, and use it to rejoice before Him with their household. It presents a side of biblical worship that many Christians rarely hear about: God actually commands His people to celebrate.

But Sukkot is about much more than having a feast.

We explore its connection to Israel’s deliverance from Egypt and forty years of dwelling in temporary shelters, its imagery of freedom from slavery, and the remarkable parallels between the seven-day feast and the ancient biblical wedding celebration.

Then we turn to the prophetic dimension. What does the Tabernacle of David in Amos 9 have to do with the restoration of Israel? Why were an extraordinary 70 bulls sacrificed during Sukkot in Numbers 29? And what is the ancient Jewish understanding connecting those seventy sacrifices with the seventy nations of the world?

Sukkot begins as a memorial of Israel’s journey through the wilderness—but its message reaches far beyond the wilderness.

Is the Feast of Tabernacles ultimately pointing toward the restoration of Israel, the nations, the Messianic Kingdom, and the great wedding celebration still to come?

Join us as we dig into the Scriptures and uncover why Sukkot may be one of the most joyful—and prophetic—appointments on God’s calendar.

The Ten Days of Awe: Judgement and Atonement | Episode #132

Fri, 21 Aug 2026 20:59:55 +0000

In this episode of the Sightedmoon Podcast, Ryan Nall and Joseph Dumond explore the ancient and prophetic significance of the Ten Days of Awe—the ten days stretching from the Feast of Trumpets to the Day of Atonement.

Why has this period historically been associated with repentance and judgment? What can the biblical fall holy days teach us about the imagery found in Daniel and Revelation? And perhaps most importantly, why should a believer in Yeshua observe Yom Kippur if the Messiah has already made atonement for sin?

Ryan and Joseph examine the themes of judgment, repentance, forgiveness, and atonement found throughout Scripture, connecting Leviticus 16 and 23 with the prophetic imagery of Revelation. They also discuss traditions surrounding the Ten Days of Awe, the symbolism of the number ten, the judgment of Satan, and the importance of understanding Revelation through the framework of the Torah and the biblical holy days.

The conversation ultimately leads to the Messiah himself: What does Yom Kippur reveal about Yeshua, and how does the Day of Atonement fit into the larger prophetic plan of God?

Join us as we examine the biblical foundations behind the Ten Days of Awe and consider why these ancient appointed times may still have profound meaning for followers of Messiah today.

Living with an Unconverted Spouse | Episode #131

Wed, 19 Aug 2026 22:29:46 +0000

What do you do when your understanding of Scripture begins to change, but your spouse remains where they are?

On this episode of the Sighted Moon Podcast, Ryan Nall and Joseph Dumond tackle the difficult subject of living with an unconverted mate. Joseph speaks from more than four decades of personal experience as his journey into the Sabbath, Torah, and a different understanding of the Bible took him down a spiritual path his wife did not share.

Joseph also looks back at the mistakes he made along the way. In his early zeal, he sometimes tried to force change rather than patiently allowing his family to understand what he was learning. One memorable example came when he learned about the origins of Christmas and responded by dragging the family Christmas tree out of the house and throwing it into a snowbank. Rather than bringing his wife closer to his convictions, actions like these created even greater division.

Through years of marital struggles, separation, reconciliation, and hard-earned lessons, the conversation explores an important distinction: knowing that your belief is right doesn’t automatically mean you’re handling the situation rightly.

How does a believing husband lead a wife who doesn’t share his convictions? What does this look like when the believing spouse is the wife? And how should parents handle children who are living between two very different religious perspectives?

Ryan and Joseph examine biblical principles for remaining faithful to your convictions while also protecting your marriage from unnecessary conflict. At the heart of the discussion is a question many believers eventually face:

How do you faithfully walk the path God has shown you when your spouse isn’t walking beside you?

The answer may have far less to do with forcing someone to follow—and much more to do with learning what Scripture means when it says to “go in peace.”

The Darkness Where God Was: From Mount Sinai to the Cross | Episode #130

Thu, 13 Aug 2026 16:48:49 +0000

Why did darkness cover the land for three hours while Yeshua hung on the tree—and why did it happen at the very time of day when the sun should have been shining brightest?

In this episode of the Sighted Moon Podcast, Ryan and Joseph Dumond begin a deep study into one of the Bible’s most fascinating and recurring themes: darkness and the presence of God.

At Mount Sinai, Moses entered into the “thick darkness where God was.” At the crucifixion, darkness covered the land from the sixth hour until the ninth hour, immediately before Yeshua cried out the opening words of Psalm 22: “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”

Was this darkness caused by a solar eclipse? The astronomical circumstances surrounding Passover make that explanation extraordinarily difficult: Passover occurs near a full moon, while a solar eclipse requires a new moon positioned between the earth and the sun. And no ordinary eclipse could account for three hours of darkness.

But the mystery goes much deeper.

What if the darkness at the crucifixion was not simply the absence of light? What if it connects Yeshua’s death to Sinai, Passover, the Day of Atonement, Psalm 22, and other moments throughout Scripture when darkness accompanies the presence and judgment of God?

Join us as we begin tracing this remarkable theme through Scripture and ask what the darkness surrounding Yeshua’s death was really meant to reveal.

Feast of Trumpets: The Calendar Controversy and God’s Holy Days | Episode #129

Fri, 07 Aug 2026 21:32:21 +0000

Is the Feast of Trumpets (Yom Teruah) simply a Jewish tradition, or does it reveal the return of the Messiah?

In this episode, Joseph Dumond and Ryan Nall explore the prophetic significance of Leviticus 23 and Numbers 29, showing how the Fall Holy Days point directly to the second coming of Yeshua. They discuss why understanding the biblical festivals is essential for understanding the Messiah—and why missing these appointed times can cause believers to overlook some of the Bible’s most profound prophetic truths.

The conversation then turns to one of the most debated topics in Torah observance: How do you determine the first day of the seventh month? Was the biblical calendar based on the visible crescent moon, or should believers follow the fixed Hillel calendar used throughout much of Judaism today?

Joseph explains:

  • Why every biblical feast centers on the Messiah.
  • How Passover foreshadowed Yeshua’s first coming—and why Yom Teruah foreshadows His return.
  • The connection between the Feast of Trumpets, the Ten Days of Awe, and Yom Kippur.
  • The meaning of repentance (teshuvah) and returning (shuv).
  • The history of the Hillel calendar and why it was created during the Jewish diaspora.
  • The development of the postponement rules (deḥiyyot) and how the calendar evolved over centuries.
  • Why the Karaites continued observing the visible crescent moon while Rabbinic Judaism adopted a calculated calendar.
  • Why this calendar debate matters for anyone seeking to observe God’s appointed times according to Scripture.

Whether you’re new to the biblical feasts or have studied them for years, this episode provides historical context, biblical insight, and practical discussion on one of Torah’s most important—and controversial—subjects.

Topics Covered:

  • Feast of Trumpets (Yom Teruah)
  • Leviticus 23 & Numbers 29
  • The Second Coming of Yeshua
  • The Biblical Calendar
  • Crescent Moon vs. Hillel Calendar
  • Ten Days of Awe
  • Yom Kippur
  • Teshuvah & Repentance
  • Karaite vs. Rabbinic Calendar
  • Biblical Prophecy and the Appointed Times

Boots on the Ground: An IDF Soldier’s Story of Faith and War | Episode #128

Wed, 05 Aug 2026 21:04:04 +0000

In this powerful episode of the Sightedmoon Podcast, host Ryan Nall and co-host Joseph Dumond sit down with Yair Pinto—an Israeli Defense Forces officer, journalist, husband, father of three, and Jewish believer in Yeshua (Jesus).

Yair shares his firsthand experiences serving on the front lines following the October 7 Hamas attacks, searching terror tunnels in Gaza, defending Israel’s northern border, and balancing the responsibilities of military service with raising a young family. He offers a deeply personal look into what it means to repeatedly leave home, knowing his children may not understand why their father must go to war.

The conversation also explores one of the most difficult questions believers wrestle with: How can a follower of Jesus serve as a soldier? Yair explains how he reconciles Yeshua’s teaching to “turn the other cheek” with the biblical responsibility to defend innocent lives. Rather than promoting hatred, he speaks passionately about praying for Israel’s enemies, believing God can transform hearts—even in places like Iran where many are coming to faith despite persecution.

This interview is an honest, thoughtful discussion about faith, sacrifice, fatherhood, and trusting God in the darkest moments.

In This Episode:

  • Yair Pinto’s experience as an IDF officer after October 7
  • The emotional challenge of leaving his wife and young children for combat
  • The inspiration behind his new book, Boots on the Ground
  • Why he believes defending Israel is compatible with following Yeshua
  • What “turn the other cheek” really means in the context of national defense
  • Praying for enemies while standing against terrorism
  • How God builds faith during seasons of war and uncertainty

Massiah vs. the Mahdi: Are the End Times Converging in the Middle East?| Episode #127

Fri, 31 Jul 2026 21:41:01 +0000

As tensions continue to rise across the Middle East, discussions surrounding the coming of Mashiach in Judaism and the Mahdi in Shia Islam have once again entered the public conversation. Why are these expectations becoming more prominent? Could current events be fueling ancient prophetic hopes?

In this episode, Ryan sits down with Joseph Dumond to examine the beliefs surrounding the Mahdi in Shia Islam, the Jewish expectation of Mashiach, and how these end-times traditions compare. Together they discuss:

  • The Islamic belief in the hidden Mahdi and his anticipated return.
  • Why the Mahdi plays a much larger role in Shia Islam than in Sunni Islam.
  • The role attributed to Jesus (Isa) in Islamic end-times tradition.
  • The historical significance of Karbala and its influence on modern Iranian ideology.
  • Why current conflicts involving Iran, Israel, and the United States have intensified speculation about the Mahdi’s appearance.
  • The Jewish expectation that every generation may contain a potential candidate for Mashiach.
  • How current geopolitical events are being interpreted through the lens of biblical prophecy and religious expectation.

Whether you’re interested in biblical prophecy, Middle Eastern history, comparative religion, or current events, this conversation explores how ancient expectations continue to shape modern thinking in one of the world’s most volatile regions.

日本の失われた部族: 歴史を変える可能性のある古代の証拠 |久保在正氏インタビュー |エピソード #126

Wed, 29 Jul 2026 16:49:27 +0000

Believers of the Jewish Messiah in Japan!? | Episode #125

Fri, 24 Jul 2026 16:06:30 +0000

Could the Lost Ten Tribes of Israel have influenced the spiritual history of Japan? Did the Netzarim (Nazarenes)—the earliest Jewish followers of Yeshua (Jesus)—travel east along the Silk Road, leaving behind evidence that still exists today?

In this episode of the Sightedmoon Podcast, host Ryan Nall explores one of the most fascinating intersections of biblical history, Japanese tradition, and ancient Asia. Beginning with the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD, we trace the migration of the early Netzarim through Central Asia to Xi’an, China, where Christianity, Buddhism, and imperial China intersected in remarkable ways.

We examine the arrival of Alopen in 635 AD, the support of the Tang emperors, and the significance of the famous Nestorian Stele, one of the earliest surviving records of Christianity in China. We also explore the development of the Buddhist expectation of Miroku 弥勒(Man of The Future) and discuss whether Messianic concepts found their way into East Asian religious thought through contact with believers in the God of Israel.

Finally, we consider the evidence often cited in support of the understanding that elements of Shinto and Japanese religious practice preserve traditions resembling those of ancient Israel, and how these claims fit into the broader discussion surrounding the Lost Tribes.

Whether you’re interested in biblical prophecy, Japanese history, archaeology, the Silk Road, or the early history of Christianity in Asia, this episode presents a thought-provoking historical investigation.

Israel in Japan? The Lost Tribes, Shinto Temples, and the Hata Mystery| Episode #124

Wed, 22 Jul 2026 21:01:42 +0000

Could the Japanese people preserve echoes of the ancient tribes of Israel?

In this solo episode of the Sightedmoon Podcast, Ryan Nall explores one of the most fascinating and controversial historical questions surrounding the Lost Ten Tribes of Israel and their possible connection to Japan.

Beginning with the Assyrian exile of 722 BC, Ryan traces the proposed migration routes of the northern tribes along the Silk Road through Central Asia and into the Far East. Along the way, he examines historical traditions, cultural similarities, and archaeological clues that have led some researchers to suggest an Israelite influence on early Japanese history.

Topics discussed include:

  • The Assyrian captivity and the migration of the Lost Ten Tribes
  • The Silk Road as a possible migration route into East Asia
  • The Hata Clan and traditions brought from Central Asia
  • The mysterious reference to “Toranomaki” (Torah Scroll)
  • Ancient Japanese traditions surrounding the divine name “Yah”
  • Similarities between Shinto shrine architecture and the Tabernacle of Moses
  • The indigenous Jōmon people and cultural comparisons
  • Why biblical traditions may survive long after their original meaning has been forgotten
  • How religions and cultures preserve ancient memories across generations

Ryan also previews an upcoming interview with Dr. Arimasa Kubo, one of Japan’s leading researchers on the Lost Tribes of Israel, who will join the podcast to discuss his decades of research into the historical connections between ancient Israel and Japan.

Whether you’re interested in biblical history, archaeology, prophecy, or Japanese culture, this episode offers a thought-provoking introduction to one of history’s most intriguing mysteries.

Did We Miss Something!? | Live in Jerusalem | Episode #123

Wed, 15 Jul 2026 14:22:39 +0000

Joseph Dumond joins us LIVE from the walls of Jerusalem to examine one of the most anticipated prophetic milestones—the completion of Daniel’s 2,300-day prophecy.

Did July 12 fulfill Daniel 8? Was the prophetic timeline incorrect, or does this date mark the beginning of a purification process rather than a single dramatic world event?

In this episode, Joseph and Ryan examine the significance of the Red Heifer purification, the cleansing of the sanctuary, escalating tensions with Iran, and recent geopolitical events that may represent the opening stages of a much larger prophetic season.

They also revisit previously discussed prophetic milestones, including the October 7 Hamas attack, the 1335-day marker, and the ongoing prophetic timeline extending toward 2026, 2028, 2033, and the 120th Jubilee in 2044.

In this episode:

  • Daniel 8 and the completion of the 2,300 days
  • Why July 12 may represent the beginning of purification—not a failed prophecy
  • Joseph Dumond reporting LIVE from Jerusalem
  • The Red Heifer ceremony and the cleansing of the sanctuary
  • U.S. military strikes against Iran and their prophetic implications
  • Israel, the Temple, and restoration of biblical worship
  • Torah, grace, obedience, and righteousness
  • The true meaning of “No man knows the day or the hour”
  • Crescent moon sightings and the biblical calendar
  • Food shortages, El Niño, and global famine warnings
  • Future prophetic milestones leading toward 2044

Whether you agree with these interpretations or simply want to understand the prophetic framework being discussed, this episode provides an in-depth look at how current events are being viewed through the lens of Scripture.

Israel, Egypt and The Hyksos | Episode #122

Tue, 14 Jul 2026 19:59:08 +0000

What if the story of Joseph in Egypt was much bigger than we have been told?

In this episode of the Sightedmoon Podcast, host Ryan Nall continues the discussion with Joseph Dumond as they explore the biblical story of Joseph, the promises given to Abraham, the blessings of Jacob’s sons, and the possible historical connections between Joseph’s rise to power in Egypt and the Hyksos period.

Could the rise of a Semitic ruler in Egypt provide historical context for how Joseph became second only to Pharaoh? Was the Hyksos era connected to the events described in Genesis? Ryan and Joseph examine theories surrounding Joseph, the title “Salitis,” Benjamin’s possible connection to later Hyksos rulers, and archaeological clues such as Semitic names found in ancient Egyptian records.

The conversation also dives into the aftermath of Jacob’s death, the fears of Joseph’s brothers recorded in Genesis 50, and the deeper family dynamics between the tribes of Israel as power and authority shifted in Egypt. Through biblical chronology, ancient history, and the Sabbatical and Jubilee timeline, this episode explores the possibility that the history of Israel stretches far beyond what is commonly understood.

Join us as we continue tracing the journey of Israel—from Abraham’s covenant promises, through Joseph in Egypt, and forward into the unfolding history of nations.

Topics discussed:
• Joseph’s rise to power in Egypt
• The Hyksos period and Semitic rulers
• Abraham’s promise of many nations
• Jacob’s blessings over the tribes of Israel
• Joseph and Benjamin in Egyptian history
• Genesis 50 and the fears of Joseph’s brothers
• Biblical chronology and ancient timelines

Discover the forgotten history, examine the evidence, and follow the trail of the promises given to Israel.
