Windsor Village United Methodist Church in Houston, Texas, is the largest and fastest growing Methodist church in America. Under the leadership of Kirbyjon H. Caldwell, the membership has grown from 25 members to a congregation of 16,000 Kingdombuilders. With a mandate to take the sanctuary to the streets, the Kingdom building ministry has resulted in the growth of close to 100 ministries that serve the community seven days a week and a proven track record of successful community development – all aimed at improving the lives of individuals and families. Pastor Caldwell’s unique vision is to add value (e.g., improve marriages, increase parenting skills, prayer, address tough times and beyond) to the lives of individuals and families with relevant messages and information that can be immediately applied to everyday living.

Kirbyjon H. Caldwell
Kirbyjon H. Caldwell is Senior Pastor of Windsor Village United Methodist Church. Under the leadership of Caldwell since 1982, Windsor Village Church membership has increased from 25 members to more than 16,000, making it one of the largest Protestant Churches in the country. As a result of Caldwell’s effective social entrepreneurship, both Caldwell and the Windsor Village Church Family have been featured in national and international print and broadcast media, including U.S. News & World Report, the British Broadcasting Corporation, and the CBS Evening News. Caldwell was included in Newsweek’s “Century Club” as one of 100 people to watch as America moved into the 21st century. With the Windsor Village Church Family, Caldwell has spearheaded several independently operated nonprofits and community development projects in Southwest Houston, including The Power Center serving 11,000 families a month and Pointe 2.3.4., a 234-acre comprehensive, mini master-planned, nonprofit community. Caldwell is a native Houstonian, Wharton Business School graduate and best-selling author. He is married to Pastor Suzette Caldwell and has three children.
